Helping Retired Homeowners Unlock Equity with DSCR Loans

We recently assisted a retired couple in leveraging the equity from their investment property through our DSCR loan program. As retirees with no traditional income, they were unable to qualify for a conventional loan. However, with DSCR financing, we helped them cash out from their investment property—without requiring proof of personal income or employment.
One key advantage of our DSCR program is its flexibility. Even when the DSCR ratio is lower than 1, or even no ratio (if property is currently vacant), we are still able to do the loan. Despite having a low DSCR ratio, they were able to unlock their home equity and access funds to use as needed. The entire transaction was completed smoothly in just 20 days, demonstrating the efficiency and reliability of our loan process. This case highlights how our DSCR loan program provides a practical solution for real estate investors, retirees, and self-employed individuals who may not have traditional income but can qualify based on rental property cash flow.
